The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. The Rotary Club of Playa Venice Sunrise has created a team - the Rotary 5280 Air Strike Team - to unite all District 5280 Rotarians in participating in the Westside walk on September 23. The team was formed to honor the memory of, Gene Lee, the father of Playa Venice Rotarian, Kristen Hemanes, who recently lost him to Alzheimer's.
As the team walks on the ground, Kristen & Glenn Hemanes will be skydiving (the 'Air Strike' portion of the team) to raise funds and awareness for this cause.
To join the team (there's no cost to register) or to make a donation, click 'Team Page' under the Event Links.
The team fundraising goal is $50,000! Please help support this effort by SHARING:
