I do hope everyone had a blessed
holiday season filled with love and joy.
We had a fabulous Bring a Friend to Rotary Meeting last week! Thank you to everyone who brought guests. The room was so full and buzzing with happy energy.
It happened to be Rob’s Birthday, so we could not help but present him with a
Passover friendly birthday treat…so fun!
We presented a check to CEO Eden Garcia-Balis from Airport Marina Counseling Center in support of their upcoming “Spring into Wellness” fundraiser…we are so proud to support such a wonderful organization and it always so wonderful to have Eden join us!
Co-President Brady had the honor of inducting our newest member,
Scott Culbertson,
who is the Executive Director
of the Friends of Ballona Wetlands, into our Club.
We are so proud to welcome Scott and cannot wait to expand our work with the Friends!
As a moving testament to the important contribution our Safer Sifting Program
has been for fire victims, we had the privilege to hear from Joni who lost her
home in the Palisades.
She shared how happy she was to recover family treasures from the ashes and could not thank us enough. As it turns out, Joni was the winner
of our Mystery Box Auction –
so generous and so appreciated.

Our guest speaker, Mr. Javier Cano,
was amazing in every way!
We heard the latest about the hospitality industry, tourism in Los Angeles especially related to the upcoming 2028 Olympics. He is a wealth of experience and information and personally, I could have listened to him all day! What a wonderful meeting!!
