Happy New Year to all!
I do hope everyone is having a
wonderful Holiday Season!
We wrapped up 2024 with a FUN AND FABULOUS FELLOWSHIP MEETING,
where we celebrated our November and December Birthdays, announced our November Rotarian of the Month – congratulations Kathrine Russell!
And heard from our Director of Club Service,
Past President Gwen Vuchsas,
who gave a hugely entertaining Craft Talk.
We welcomed students from the Venice High School Interact Club, who shared a vision
for a service project focused on teaching college students how to prepare
healthy meals for themselves.
We are excited to be involved and look forward to seeing how this
service project takes shape.
Thank you to Ray Morales for his dedication to mentoring these talented students.
We thanked our Restaurant staff for their service – we really do have the best location for our club meetings and we are grateful to Whiskey Reds and their staff for making things so nice for us!

Our OG Birthday Fairy wishes to share this inspirational New Years Message:
New Year’s is like a collective birthday that we all get to celebrate together.
This one is particularly wonderful because
we GET to celebrate it together.
2024 was a year of doing and
we had lots of doings.
2025, now on the other hand,
is a year of being – and enjoying the
fruits of our doing.
Happy New Year, Playa Venice Sunrise.
So very happy to be being with you!
