President-Elect Gail Goldstein
Shares Her Story
Born and raised in Los Angeles, President-
Elect Gail Goldstein took us on a journey
through the defining moments that shaped
her life and career. A USC business graduate,
Gail's path took an unexpected turn when, at
age 19, she left school following the sudden
passing of her father. Returning home to
support her mother during a difficult time,
Gail faced her first major life challenge
and learned resilience at an early age.

What followed was a remarkable career in
commercial real estate spanning more than
30 years. Entering what was then largely a
man's world, Gail was among the first women
to establish herself in the industry. After earning
her real estate license, she returned to USC
to complete her Business degree while working
full-time. Along the way, she met the love of
her life, Rob Bird, and together they have
built a life centered on family, service,
and community.
Gail's professional accomplishments have
earned her recognition throughout the Los
Angeles business community, including
commendations from the Los Angeles
Business Journal and honors from the
LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce.
A pivotal moment came in 1992 when Gail
met Kathrine Russell, whose friendship and
mentorship profoundly influenced her life.
Sponsored by Kathrine into Rotary in 2007,
Gail went on to serve as PVSR President in
2011-2012 and has remained a dedicated
leader ever since.

Today, Gail serves as Vice President of
Leasing for The Shops at Santa Anita and
is preparing to lead Playa Venice Sunrise
Rotary once again. Her story is a testament
to perseverance, determination, and the
opportunities that emerge when we
embrace life's unexpected turns.

Bingo, Dinner &
Big Smiles at US Vets

What a wonderful evening of service and
fellowship! Thirty-nine U.S. Veterans
enjoyed an evening of Bingo, with
approximately 50–60 veterans
joining us for dinner.
The event ran seamlessly thanks to the
outstanding leadership and planning of
Dean and Susan Reuter, who did a
fantastic job ensuring everything
came together perfectly.

We were delighted to see a strong turnout
from both Playa Venice Sunrise Rotary
and Inglewood Rotary Clubs, creating
a spirit of partnership and community
throughout the evening.

The veterans thoroughly enjoyed the dinner,
laughter, and friendly competition. The
highlight of the night came when a $250
PVSR donation was presented to support
the program.

Thank you to everyone who helped
make this memorable evening possible!
Special appreciation to Rob and Gail for
delivering a well-organized, upbeat, and
engaging Bingo experience; Lisa for
providing a delicious pasta dinner
courtesy of Cantalini’s; and to Bobbie,
Debbie, Marsha, Lucy, Rich, Martha,
Gwen, and Ramona for their helping
hands and warm Rotary spirit
throughout the evening.

Together, you created a welcoming
atmosphere filled with laughter,
fellowship, and appreciation for the
veterans we were honored to serve.
🇺🇸❤️🎉
