* VALENTINE FUN FOR THE SENIORS * Last week, we assembled the cutest Valentine Packages for the Seniors at Westside Pacific Village.

Martha Jeffers, dropped them off after our Meeting and from what I hear,
they were a huge hit!

We also heard from our District Foundation Chair, Dean Reuter,
with important information about the Rotary Foundation and updates about becoming a Paul Harris Fellow and the purpose and benefits of the program.

TEACHER MINI-GRANT ~

We shared some adorable letters from students whose teachers received Teacher Mini Grants last month adding proof that this is such an important program for our schools.

I was very proud to present Brady Connell with the President’s Circle Pin and a special recognition award acknowledging his incredible Leadership and extraordinary efforts towards the Safer Sifting program.
And Brady presented Roses to Rotarians who Rallied and supported the Team in getting this project out to the masses.
This past Saturday we gathered at the Barker Hanger at the Santa Monica Airport for a full weekend of sorting, organizing, training and distributing safer sifting equipment to families affected by the wildfires. Thank you to everyone who came out to volunteer.

This week, we will hear updates about our two Global Grants: the Uganda Ultrasound Project and the JacarandaSchool’s “Women Empowerment and Entrepreneurship” project in Malawi, Africa and the exciting ways in which you can participate.
