AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS
We had an absolutely spectacular meeting
last week! It was so much fun to honor and acknowledge our club leaders!
Thank you to our Club Board of Directors,
our Foundation Board of Trustees,
Committee Chairs, Club Service Volunteers, Donors, and Supporters. Thank you for your compassionate hearts and willingness to place Service Above Self.
We are still glowing with pride for taking home the top honors at our
recent District Conference.
It was wonderful to be acknowledged
for our service projects, and
we are so proud of our Club!
It was truly a beautiful moment when
Past-President Hilton and Co-President Brady unveiled our NEW Banner
naming us the
Club of Impact for 2024-2025!!
Our Club has shown such grit and resilience throughout this past year, and our collective good works truly made a difference in the lives of many in our community and beyond.
For those members who were not able to attend, please know that your service
and commitment to our Club,
our fundraisers, and programs
has made an enormous IMPACT, and
as I stated at last Wednesday’s meeting, Brady and I have been so grateful for the opportunity to lead our Club forward with purpose, love, and compassion.
We have done great work together and had fun in the process. Thanks to your generous contributions of time,
talent, and treasure,
we have touched many lives.
Each one of you makes a difference,
and we thank you for your dedication to being a Playa Venice Sunrise Rotarian. We are truly BETTER TOGETHER!

games, and clever activities!

We will enthusiastically welcome our Past District Governor, Rick Mendoza, who will officiate the installation of our
new Board for 2025-2026.
PDG Rick was our Mentor when the Club was chartered in June of 2005, and we are so happy to have him help us celebrate
our Club’s 20th Anniversary!

New Co-Presidents Martha and Gwen will
kick off our new Rotary Year at our
meeting on July 2nd. We will have lots of fun including celebrating our June Birthdays, announcing the June Rotarian of the Month, presenting gifts to those Board Members
who missed the June 18th meeting,
and a few other surprises.
Please come and help us show our new Presidents our love. We look forward to hearing more about their vision for the new year and the myriad ways in which we can fulfill on the new Rotary International theme, “Unite for Good.”
