Dear Rotarians,
A quick recap and announcement to document “just another week at Playa Venice.” For many clubs, this would’ve been or will be a major week to celebrate… but for our club, the energy and enthusiasm every single week is amazing and the fun never stops!

UPCOMING WEEK
SCHOLARSHIP MEETING
Don’t miss this week’s exceptional Scholarship meeting. Almost all of our 23 recipients will be present with their families to receive their award. We all need to be there and welcome these future leaders the Rotary way and make them feel at home. As Gail G says: This will be a sure “Rotary Moment” for all of us!

DISTRICT CONFERENCE

A weekend of fun, fellowship and meetings with Rotarians from all over the District. It was the culmination a successful year under the leadership of Governor Olivia. We also welcomed Makiko as the upcoming Governor. A special thank you to Nora and Doug MacLellan who prepared our table for “Hospitality Night.” Gail Brooks and Jerry Jen were both program presenters. Throughout my conversations with many Rotarians, I could witness everyone’s admiration for our club’s leadership and example to follow in the District. Last but not least, the District paid tribute to all those who left us this year, including our dear Howard!
Next Year, the conference will be held at the Biltmore Hotel in Downtown LA, so it will be easier for many members to attend.
