Joy is at the heart of Rotary — found in service
above self, in fellowship, and in the positive
change we bring to our community. This month’s
stories celebrate the joy that comes from working together for good.

Teacher Mini Grant Awards
Join us this Wednesday as we recognize
outstanding teachers across the PVS area
by awarding Mini Grants in support of their
individual classrooms and students. More
than 127 grant applications were thoughtfully
reviewed, and many teachers will see their
wishes fulfilled through this approved
program. Expect plenty of joy, fun, and
a few surprises along the way!

December Rotarian of the Month:
🌟 Charles Pannunzio 🌟
In appreciation of his tireless commitment to
serve—showing up every Wednesday, supporting
countless service events, and providing outstanding
leadership—especially during the holiday season
when he stepped into the joyful role of our Santa
Claus—we proudly honored Charles Pannunzio as
our Rotarian of the Month for December.
Congratulations, Charles! 🎉

🎁 White Elephant Gift Exchange 🎁
The White Elephant Gift Exchange proved to be an exciting way to kick off our first meeting of the
year, filled with laughter and plenty of surprises.
Gifts ranged from small keepers to a spice rack—
and even a very large swordfish trophy. Lucy did
a tremendous job keeping things moving and
making sure the rules were followed, much
to the chagrin (and amusement) of others.

🍻 New Year Happy Hour 🍻
Happy Hour fellowship at the Tavern in El Segundo
brought together several of our members, along
with friends and relatives. Though a small gathering,
it was a mighty group—sharing holiday stories and
looking ahead with excitement to 2026. Thank you, Racquel, for making our Thursday Happy Hour
such a fun and welcoming event.
