As a reminder, please bring DIAPERS to our
next two Wednesday meetings for the
Camp Pendleton collection.

Won’t you join us on Wednesday as we get
the opportunity to hear about one of our own.

A familiar and cherished presence in our club
since 2007, Racquel has long considered this
community a second family—well before
officially becoming a member. Witnessing
years of meaningful service inspired a deeper
commitment to making a difference and
discovering where her own strengths could
best contribute.

Racquel is a Los Angeles native who raised
three lovely children, and when not giving
back, enjoy’s traveling and spending time
on the tennis court.

Rotarian of the Month
Join us on Wednesday as it’s time for our
Rotarian of the Month reveal—always a
highlight filled with a little suspense, a lot of
appreciation, and well-deserved recognition.
This honor celebrates one of our own who
has gone above and beyond in service, spirit,
and dedication to our club. You won’t want
to miss the moment! 🎉

PVSR Playbook

Last week, Gwen gave us a brief look at Playa
Venice Sunrise Rotary's organizational chart,
offering many of our newer Rotarians a helpful
view of how our club is structured and operates.
For those with a bit more tenure, it was a great
reminder of all that we do—and where our own
talents and passions can continue to make
an impact.

The goal was to highlight the breadth and
diversity of opportunities that make our club
so vibrant and engaged. Gwen encouraged
everyone to explore where their time and
energy best align, inviting members to step
in, get involved, and give back through
meaningful service.

Lisa Schwab Recognized
With A Two Ruby Pin

Lisa was honored in receiving a two ruby pin
as recognition of her sustained, long-term
commitment to Rotary’s humanitarian and
educational efforts — supporting impactful
initiatives like PolioPlus, clean water projects,
and education programs around the world.

As giving milestones are reached, a Paul
Harris Fellow pin is enhanced with ruby
stones, beginning at $7,000 in total
contributions to The Rotary Foundation.

The Two Ruby Pin recognizes a remarkable
total contribution between $8,000 and
$8,999.99, a true testament to ongoing
generosity, meaningful impact, and
extraordinary dedication to service
above self.
