Last Week's Meeting Highlights
Last week we had a Club Assembly to take care of some administrative business.Unfortunately, Marina Del Rey had a massive power outage, and we were met with a few challenges including a lack of WiFi for those attending via zoom.
Everyone rallied and we managed to have a fairly good meeting. We apologize for the spotty connection but appreciate those who hung in there with us.
Thank you to all who made it happen - and kudos to the chef who made us stove-top coffee and cooked breakfast in the dark…wonderful team!

We announced our slate for 2025-2026, discussed finances, reviewed our schedules, shared some gratitude, and we ate delicious,
freshly baked zucchini bread!

who has launched a new fundraiser called
“Gail's Cookies for a Cause”.

** This Wednesday Dec. 4th **
We will be making holiday wreaths for local seniors from the Westchester Senior Center. This is a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season and brighten the hearts and homes of our neighbors.
We will be announcing our slate again this week and again on December 11th at which time we will vote and hopefully elect our new Board.

We will be having a Holiday Happy Hour at 5:30p. Jane St. John and Felicia St. Denis
will be on hand to collect toys and pet supplies for their Toy Drive.

Venice High School Auditorium.

Our Club will be dark on December 25th and January 1st in observance of the holidays, returning January 6th for our White Elephant Gift Exchange…this is a really fun meeting as we get to see all of the “interesting” presents being “regifted.”

The first Happy Hour of 2025
will be held on January 2nd
at Cantalini’s Salerno Beach Restaurant
so we can help President Lisa
celebrate her restaurant’s
25th Anniversary. Please come out and help celebrate this important milestone! This Happy Hour will take the place of the “Fun at Cantalini’s”
event on December 29th–
You can expect the same Food, Fun and Fellowship, paired with libations
and a few surprises.
