into programs that support high school
scholarships, teacher mini grants, community
service projects, and global initiatives. Every

opportunities, strengthen communities, and

Welcome Back, Rob!
Former member Rob DeCou is in town and
will be joining us at tomorrow's meeting.
David captivated us with an insightful and entertaining Craft Talk, sharing the many
life experiences that have shaped his journey. Blending humor and heart, he kept us engaged
from start to finish. With appearances on three
quiz shows—one earning him an impressive
$50,000—along with a JD, and a flair for improv
comedy, he truly embodies both intellect and
wit. It was a memorable presentation that
set him apart and left the room smiling
and asking for more!

Flight Path Gala
We were proud to sponsor the Flight Path
Museum Gala with a contribution of $2,000
presented to Lynne Adelman, Flight Path
Board Member. The Gala is celebrating
30 years of the Flight Path Museum’s
dedication to preserving aviation history,
inspiring the community, and honoring
visionary flight.

District Breakfast
Ten fellow Rotarians attended the second
District Breakfast, joining in fellowship with
other clubs at the beautiful Woodland Hills
Country Club. It was a wonderful opportunity
to reconnect with friends, learn about district
updates, and hear inspiring words from Jim
Harrick, who served as Assistant Coach under John Wooden from the 1970s through
the late 1980s.
The District also presented a $250,000 check
to GEM (Global Empowerment Mission) who
is providing emergency financial assistance
to families affected by the LA County
wildfires in January.
Our very own Hilton Brown led us in the
Pledge of Allegiance, and showing their
support for Cancer Awareness Month, Lisa, Stephanie, Dean, Susan, Gwen, Martha, Gail, Rob, Ramona, and Racquel
proudly wore pink.
