Welcome to the PVSR Weekly Newsletter
2025 - 2026  Vol. 11

It’s that time of year when the air grows
crisp, the days grow shorter, and the rhythm
of preparation fills us with anticipation for
what’s ahead. These next few months are full
of opportunities and exciting plans, reminding
us to both embrace the momentum and take
time to slow down, reflect, and lean into our
own transformation. Together, we stay deeply
connected to all that is possible through Rotary
as we strive to make a difference in the
lives of others.

This Week's CraftTalk:
Natalie Shoemaker

We are looking forward to a full house this
Wednesday
as one of our newest members,
Natalie Shoemaker, will be presenting her
Craft Talk. We look forward to hearing about
Natalie’s background and personal anecdotes,
giving us a glimpse into the experiences that
shaped her. Getting to know her is a true joy,
and we encourage everyone to come meet
Natalie. Her warmth, charm, and rich
background in service make her an
inspiring addition to our Rotary family.

Induction of St. Bernard College
Preparatory Members

We were excited to officially induct
Casey Yeazel, Kim Muno, Erin Thompkins
as members of the PVS Rotary Club! While
St. Bernard College Preparatory has been a
long-standing and valued corporate member
of PVSR, this marks the first time we’ve had
the honor of formally recognizing the dedicated

Featured Speaker: Casey Yeazel,
President - St. Bernard
College Preparatory

Casey gave us an overview of the intentions and actions they are taking to grow their footprint
in our community. It was exciting to see and
hear how this prep school is joining forces with
Lulu’s Place to bring back a high standard of education to our local high school. The
presentation was refreshing and highlighted
a long-term commitment to education, the arts
and sciences, innovation, and community
enrichment. We were shown slides illustrating
the changes already underway as well as
strategic plans for future enrollment growth.
The continued efforts to maintain a rich and
dynamic community of teachers and students
was evident as seen through the passion and conviction of Casey Yeazel’s commentary.
