Rooted in love and carried forward through
service, Valentine’s Day reflects Rotary’s
mission—to connect hearts, strengthen
community, and serve with purpose.

🎤 Speaker of the Week:
Governor Elect Brady Connell
A proud member of Playa Venice Sunrise Rotary
for more than 10 years, District Governor-Elect
Brady Connell has served our club both as both
Past President and Co-President of PVSR.
Deeply enthusiastic about what Rotary stands
for, Brady is especially inspired by the power of
collaboration between national and international
districts on Global Grant projects, and by
supporting clubs in fostering dialogue that
advances peace and leadership development
across the District.
We are honored to be the home club
of the incoming Governor Brady.
At Wednesday’s meeting, he will share reflections
on his commitment to Rotary and the journey that
has led him to serve as Governor of District 5280
beginning July 1, 2026. His motto—“Have Fun &
Get It Done”—will set the tone and lead the way
throughout his tenure.

Rotarians Around Town
Super Bowl Gathering
Hosted by Visitation Church, several PVS
Rotarians started their Sunday morning right
by enjoying a delicious Super Bowl breakfast
filled with camaraderie, fun, and lively
conversation centered on the teams, winners,
and possible upsets. Hopes were especially high
for a former USC quarterback, Sam Darnold,
who lead the Seattle Seahawks to victory,
as we now know! 🏈🏆
