Last Week's Meeting Highlights
Last week we had the privilege of welcoming Maria Canchola, from Hollywood Park Casino and Chair of the LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce, to share with us about the exciting developments happening in Inglewood including the New
13 story, Kali Hotel being built adjacent to the SoFi Stadium and YouTube Theater and within walking distance from the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum. There is a lot to do in preparing for the many events happening in Los Angeles
in the next few years, including the
2025 Gold Cup, 2026 NBA All-star game,
2026 FIFA World Cup and
2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

We also welcomed the Bomberos Chapala via Zoom to present them with our donation of $1500.00 for safety equipment and supplies for their rescue equipment. We are grateful to Past President Jim Vuchsas for bringing this program to our Club as part of our International Avenue of Service, and it has been a privilege to support these brave firefighters from Chapala, Mexico for many years now. Thank you, Justin, for making the Zoom link happen!
