This Wednesday IS Our Arabian Nights Cultural dinner! We are all excited to spend this evening in style, fun and get more funds to fuel our service projects! Thanks to all the members who contributed in one way or another. In particular, we are grateful to the committees that are still dedicating hours of their time these days to make the event successful! More thanks will be due next week!

Technology permitting, Tore Knos will join the meeting live from Florida where he is doing disaster relief after Hurricane Ian.

Last Wednesday, we had a perfectly cozy Happy Hour at Brizo. There were about 20 of us who gathered for some delicious food and libations all around. We had a gentleman who had attended one of our meetings, named Alfred Alvarado and a gentleman who is with the Booster Club for LAPD named John Conner. Of course, we wowed them! They were both very nice quiet men, and, as usual, we are nothing like quiet! Thanks to all who attended as we laughed and celebrated the week together.

On Sunday, 6 Rotarians spent an hour with 4 wonderful ladies who are considering joining our Club: Sheila, LaVonne, Martha and Karla. We truly hope they will join!
LaVonne is ready and her induction will be in a couple weeks!
Martha was very excited about our Honor Flights program and will volunteer this week to help!

Boys and Girls Club 50th anniversary
The Boys & Girls Club of West San Gabriel Valley celebrated their 50th Anniversary on Oct 12th at their Monterey Park Club at 4:30pm. Tracey, Melissa, Peter, Keely, Lucia & Kurtis attended and presented them with a check from our club to support their good deeds!
