Playa Venice Rotarians & Friends,
Tomorrow is Teacher Mini Grants Day. If you’ve never attended a mini-grants meeting, you should definitely come to see what good our club does for local teachers and kids. School representatives will be on hand to receive the mini grant checks – thank you to all members who read the applications and participated in selecting the recipients!
Bowling was awesome! Thank you Stephanie Davis for making all the arrangements, and congratulations to Gwen and Hilton for defending your titles! Next year you’re going down!
Everyone please update your Clubrunner profiles with a picture and updated info. If you have troubles, contact Joerg who will guide you though – thanks, Joerg!
Pageant of the Arts is coming up fast – our club competition is Feb 8. If you know a talented high-schooler to compete in art, dance, music, or speech, make sure you contact Lindsay Thomas right away! Thank you Kathrine Russell for being in charge of the whole thing for the district!
Make sure to put BINGOFEST on your calendar for March 7– it’s our other main fundraiser of the year, and it’s a blast!
NOTE: Because of mini-grants, there will be no raffle or happy bucks tomorrow.
NEXT WEEK... THE RAFFLE POT WILL BE OVER $2,300!
