I am German and grew up in Aachen, the most Western City of Germany. Before moving to the US I lived in Duesseldorf.  In Summer 2016 our family moved to the Westside of Los Angeles. 

 

I am a technology strategist and entrepreneur with the passion of turning ideas into profitable finished products.

 

Why did you join Rotary and what is your favorite Rotary experience?

I am a part of the Rotarian family for over ten years now. I joined Rotaract in Germany (youth program of Rotary international) because I was looking for a community service organization where I could meet young leaders and take part in community and international service projects. 
My favorite Rotary moments were visiting diverse Rotary and Rotaract Clubs around the world like in Nigeria and Egypt.  Attending foreign Rotary events made me feel being part of a worldwide network trying to bring goodwill, peace and international understanding to the world.

 

What does your perfect weekend look like?

Spend time with my wife and my two lovely kids while discovering all around our new base Los Angeles. Of course my perfect weekend also goes with enjoying to BBQ and to drink a cold German beer with friends in the evenings.
