Dear fellow Rotarians and friends,
We were concerned when good friend and Past District Governor Rick Mendoza didn't show up to install Jory Rosen
and Joe Chehade last Wed. Rick is fine and will be with us on 6/12 to install the Westchester Family YMCA. Fortunately District Membership Chair Jerry Brown was making a house call and filled in for Rick. Sponsor Gwen Vuchsas introduced our newest and 49th and 50th members to the Club. We are proud to have Jory and Joe among us. Thanks again to Alex Rosales and Control printing for creating our beautiful membership certificates!
Alan Kerstein was with us again to give a final installment of "How to avoid a traffic ticket." Since we didn't get a chance to touch all the bases fully, Alan promised to come back in the next Rotary year to wrap things up.
President Jim presented Mike Sarlo with his member badge a to save Gwen from having to pay a sponsor fine of $5 generous Dan paid $10 for her. John now has two successful businesses in place 
and paid $25 to brag about it. Katie has exchange student Maxine back with she and Mike which called for a $10 shout out. Jame ponied up $20, "just because."
On 6/12 President Elect Tom Carson will gave an over view of his vision for 2013-2014. The following week President Jim will review this past year and our efforts towards "Service Above Self."

Once again, no one pulled the ace of spades in the 50/50 drawing, so over $3035. carries over to next week's meeting! Please note that we have no meeting on 6/26.
