Each week President Jim will share his thoughts about that week's meeting with Tony Ciancimino who will pass them on to members and friends. 50/50 Raffle winner Judith Wilson was jumping up and down so much the camera couldn't capture a still image!

Dear fellow Rotarians and friends,

Past District Governor Rick Mendoza joined us this week to officiate at or new member installation. He brought a guest from his Redondo Beach Club, Eli Gauna, also PDG of the 5260 District. We were delighted to have as many fellow Rotarians join us on this special day. Rick was the mentor for the birth of Playa Sunrise and also helped with the merger of that Club and the former Venice Club. He has been a great friend to both Clubs and now enjoys the success of Playa Venice. He came forward with Blair McBirney and sponsor Christina Davis. Blair will be the key contact for our newest corporate member, the Westchester Family YMCA. She is shown holding the beautiful membership certificate created by Alex Rosales of Control Printing. We are delighted to have Blair and the "Y" with us, expanding our numbers to an all time high of 51 members! Welcome Blair.
