Each week President Jim will share his thoughts about that week's meeting with Tony Ciancimino who will pass them on to members and friends. President Jim welcomed visiting students Melissa and Nathalie, who were on spring break from Georgia. They are from Lebanon and Columbia. Jim gave them Club logo pins and a Club gift.

Dear fellow Rotarians and friends,

We started out Bring a Friend to Rotary with a full and highly energized room. Featured Rotarian guests were former District Governor and multiple office holder was Paul Netzel and his bride Diane, both members of LA 5. They were guests of their longtime friend Gail Goldstein and brought Chris Matar, Associate Producer at Reason TV to meet us. Gwen Vuchsas had two guests Bobbie Casalino-Lewis Style and Fashion Motivator and Monica Trepany, President of Playa Realty. President Jim brought friend of the Club Kelly Kane, owner of Your Computer Connection and local education activists. Kathrine Russell brought fellow Wells Fargo worker Margaret Kubiak and Sam Innes returned for a second week as Gail's guest. Rachel Sunday introduced to her delightful daughter Hayley Novack. Dan Kolodziejski brought back Nate Richards from his office. As mentioned above,  visiting students, Melissa and Nathalie, and world travelers, rounded out the morning. Paul offered some comments to the membership.

We offered a brief video on our Club activities this year followed by an overview of how our Club is structured. Added high points of the morning were Gwen followed by Gail giving some insights to some signature Club programs and the impact they have had. The members' participation and enthusiasm made Bring a Friend to Rotary an important and worthwhile event.

Tore attended his last meeting before heading East for his historic tour. He will be sending updates which we'll post as Tore's Travels. The first appears this week.

Our March birthday celebrants were subjected to a horrible rendition of Happy Birthday but hopefully their gift made up for it. Image

Once again, no one pulled the ace of spades in the 50/50 drawing, so $1040 carries over to next week.

Thanks to Gwen Vuchsas and Don Culton for taking pictures this week.

Since this week's Bulletin was delayed we can mention Sat.'s Luck O the Irish BingoFest. Chair Gwen Vuchsas reported a sellout crowd, the music was great the food superb and an incredible volunteer effort. We'll get an update on Wed. but wanted to offer thanks again to all who helped make it a fun and hopefully profitable evening.
