Playa Venice Sunrise’s fourth annual cultural dinner will take place on Tuesday December 7th at the Center Pointe Club at Playa Vista. This year’s theme will be South of the Border. Following in the successful footsteps of our Italian, Greek and Oktoberfest offerings, South of the Border will once again feature an all inclusive meal with special entertainment. Where else can one find appetizers, a three course meal with beverages (adult and other) for $65. per person? Treat family members, customers or fellow workers to an affordable evening of fun. Our much anticipated Rotary Raffle will once again feature sports packages, a taste of the bay and, courtesy of Howard Pollack, two first class tickets on United Airlines! Recently added was a special wine silent auction featuring the highly coveted Opus One. We'll samba off at 6:00 PM.
The dinner committee takes great pride in announcing that this year’s honoree for the prestigious Sunrise Community Award is Karen Dial, President of the H.B. Drollinger Company. Karen has picked up the mantle of her father, Howard Drollinger and has demonstrated Service Above Self in her generous outreach to the community. She has not only maintained the Drollinger tradition but has raised the bar. Come out and join us in honoring a truly special lady.
