Rotary District 5280 Art Contest

2nd place winner, De'Von Stubblefield describes his art work.
The District judged the annual art contest on Sat. March 3rd. The Playa Venice contestant from St. Bernard High School, De'von Stubblefield, won second place and a check for $500. There were over twenty entries each of which was very impressive, everything from photography to sculpture. De'Von is going to send us a scan of his work and upon receipt we will post it on this web site with his description. Both De'von and his lovely mother graciously accepted congratulations from the attendees. Their smiles couldn't be erased. De'von's mother reported that De'von has been accepted to Cal Arts. Congratulation to De'von on all counts, we couldn't have had a better representative!
