The next RCA meeting is scheduled for October 27th from 7:00-8:30pm. We hope that each club will send a representative to this meeting.
We will discuss the Food Drive scheduled for the next district breakfast. The Chair of the RCA, Gerardo Jaramillo is trying to get someone from the food bank to come to speak at the RCA meeting (or the District Breakfast). Dinner will cost about $20 per person and will include a choice of one of 3 offered entrees, small green salad and a beverage. Additional information on dinner will follow.
Other items of discussion include other hunger related activities that clubs might consider: Meals on Wheels delivery; work at a food bank or pantry for a day; Thanksgiving baskets, etc. Together we can have an impact on the problem of hunger in our District. We will also continue our discussion of other activities the RCA might sponsor for the year - including other collections.
