On Sunday December 2nd a group of Playa Venice Rotarians went to downtown Los Angeles to serve dinner to over 500 needy people.

President Jim came up with the idea of getting a group together to travel downtown to the Midnight Mission to serve a meal to our less fortunate fellow Los Angelenos. That got the ball rolling. Volunteers were called for to head the project and Tom Dixon of the MRD Hospital stepped up to pursue a date and set it up. Thanks to Jim for such a great Rotarian idea and event.

A portion of the group capped the evening with dinner at 104 year old Los Angeles institution Philippe's. A great event topped with outstanding company and a fantastic meal.
