Lisa Schwab selected as 2011 Howard Drollinger Achievemnet Award winner!
On April 6th LAX Coastal Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Christina Davis attended our weekly meeting to make a special announcement. Annually, the Chamber holds its City of Angels Awards which recognizes outstanding achievement in Los Angeles. Five notables are highlighted and are joined by one local leader who has enriched our community through their deeds and efforts. The award is named after Howard B. Drollinger, a Rotarian who lived a life of Service Above Self. Christina advised us that the 2011 Howard Drollinger Achievement Award winner is our very own Lisa Schwab. Past President Lisa’s commitment has been expressed though Rotary, leadership as President of Lady Elks, strong support of education, rural health care, the Playa del Rey community and numerous charitable institutions. Lisa is a lady who doesn’t say no to worthy causes and acts as a donor or doer if not both. The Playa Venice Rotary Club is not only fortunate to count Lisa among our membership but proud that our community has recognized what we have known for many years, Lisa is truly a jewel to be treasured and celebrated!
