Howard Pollack, Mr. Generosity

At Playa Venice Rotary we call Howard Pollack Mr. Generosity. He has been a long time supporter of the LAX Coastal Area Chamber of Commerce and his church, in addition to the many things he does for Playa Venice. Recently Howard extended his giving to another local Rotary Club who was doing a home makeover for a needy Westchester woman (see http://www.dailybreeze.com/latestnews/ci_17246732) He donated the miles for Gloria Dresser to visit her daughter in Hawaii and for the two of them to return to Westchester. Upon return Dresser found that extensive upgrading and repair had been completed on her home. Gloria was almost stuck speechless by the act of kindness.

As the owner of Rainbow Acres Natural Foods, Howard has once again proved that he lives a life that exemplifies, Service Above Self. We are fortunate to have him in our Club!
