Circus Vargas will perform under the big top at the Del Amo Fashion Center Mall in Torrance for this year's annual Rotary Foundation Celebration. The November 6, 2011 performance will be exclusive for District 5280 Rotarians, family and friends. Doors open at 11:00 AM. Pre-show 12:10. We’ll watch a series of circus vignettes through the performances of talented aerialists and acrobats in a magnificent presentation. This year’s edition of Circus Vargas will be performed in the most state-of-the-art Big Top tent in use worldwide. It was hand-made in Milan, Italy at a cost of a million bucks! The theater-style tent seats 1,500 people "in the round" comfortably. Plan to get there early particularly if are bringing the kids.
Prior to the show all children will be invited into the center ring for an interactive tutorial of what life is like under the Big Top. Guides will give them a crash course in circus skills such as juggling, feather balancing and hula-hooping. Entry tickets include a hotdog or nachos, and popcorn or cotton candy, and two drinks for everyone, plus deli sandwiches for everyone 16 or over.
