Greetings all,

Below is a review of this week's meeting and upcoming Playa Venice events. Remember to read all the way through for this week’s Note from the Universe.

Dear fellow Rotarians and friends,

To Start:

A huge Thank You to everyone for being so welcoming to Lillie Grace on her third birthday. She was so glad to be there and the singing of Happy Birthday was a special part of her day. In fact at bedtime we asked her what the best part of her day was and she said the singing with the flowers (and we had a great day)! So thank you all. Lillie will now be starting the Pre-School division of Rotary. :) Lillie asked me to send everyone her favorite picture of her and her dog Homie as a way to say Thank You!

And now, a Note from the Universe:

"Enjoying short-term pleasures at the expense of long-term dreams is just about as silly as pursuing long-term dreams at the expense of short-term pleasures.

Pursue both. Kind of like, have your cake and eating it too.

I do."
