Kristin DeCou is a Certified KonMari Consultant and the Founder of Modern Refresh, based in Los Angeles. Trained by the star of the Netflix series "Tidying Up with Marie Kondo", Kristin works alongside clients 1:1 in their homes and offices, helping them to declutter, organize and uplift their space to make room for what matters most. Prior to becoming a KonMari Consultant, Kristin led global One-for-One® Shoe Giving at TOMS and served as a Corporate Liaison for Direct Relief, a non-profit humanitarian relief & development organization.  Kristin has committed her career to making an impact in people’s lives, and she now enjoys using her passion to help clients - from moms to retirees - live their best life.

Kristin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and is a proud GenR member of the International Rescue Committee.  Kristin lives in Los Angeles with her husband Rob and two children, Hudson (2) and Kalea (1).
