Meet Tracey
Where are you from originally? If not from LA, how did you end up here?
I'm a California Girl. I was born in Hollywood and raised in beautiful La Jolla. My husband and I lived in Montana for a few years and upon returning to LA we lived in different areas of LA before we bought our house 22 years ago on the Westside.
Tell us about your occupation.
I am a freelance event coordinator and photographer. My husband and I started our own production company, Powertap Productions, and are in the midst of producing a documentary about the real author of the Shake-speare plays.
Why did you join Rotary and what is your favorite Rotary experience?
I was original asked by the Boys & Girls Club of Venice were I serve on the Board of Directors to be the Club's representative to the PVS Rotary Club. After attending my first meeting I was hooked on the organization and its members!
My favorite experience has been building homes for Habitat for Humanity, our Adopt-A-Family Program and the Rotary's Sponsored BGCV's Kids' Christmas Party.
What does your perfect weekend look like?
A bike ride on the beach, breakfast at one of our favorite restaurants and cooking dinner for friends and family.
