I am from LA - born in Santa Monica, grew up in Topanga Canyon, attended UCLA.

 

I am a librarian by training. I work for the RAND Corporation in Santa Monica. I’m the director of the group that provides library services, internal web services and the corporate archive.

 

Why did you join Rotary and what is your favorite Rotary experience?

I joined Playa Vista because it’s the best! Actually, I first came because the location and meeting time (breakfast) were convenient. I stayed because the people are wonderful and the club is doing great things. My favorite Rotary moments are when we present Teacher Mini-Grants and scholarships for high school seniors. They show that small amounts can make a big difference in lives.

 

What does your perfect weekend look like?

Unscheduled time - since my week is filled with deadlines and meetings. I love to cook and garden. And having time to get together with friends and family.
