This virtual training on Zoom will be led by Helena Goto, a conflict resolution expert and CEO of Goto solutions, Inc Helena is also a dynamic member of Playa Venice Rotary Club. This workshop is open to Rotarians, their family, co-workers and friends.Click HERE to register. Zoom link will be emailed to registrants one week before the event. We all know when we are in a dysfunctional relationship, it drains our energy and we anticipate and dread interacting. This can happen in both our personal or work lives. To move successfully through conflict, all parties need to firstly want to, and secondly, take responsibility for their part in the conflict. Then prepare for and ultimately address the situation in a constructive, solution oriented way that builds trust and creates an opportunity for both parties to succeed. This interactive training will cover ways we can prepare for solution orientated conversations that allow us to build, rather than tear-down relationships.
Will you join?
(The zoom meeting link takes you to a secondary registration page. Complete that page and you will receive the zoom link via email. Sorry for the confusion.)

Volunteer at the Westchester Parade The theme this year is "Yours for a Better Community - Celebrating the Best of America" which is takeoff on the late Howard Drollinger who would have been 100 years old this year and signed everything "Yours For a Better Westchester". Howard and his family were the founders of Westchester and his daughter Karen Dial and family are the Grand Marshals of this year's parade.
The Parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. on July 4th and will travel down Loyola Boulevard beginning at Manchester and ending at LMU.
All volunteers will be asked to be at the corner of Manchester and Loyola Boulevard at 8:00 a.m. on the 4th. There will be a check-in table to get your assignment. You will receive the 2022 Parade Shirt to wear during the parade. Continental Breakfast will be provided at the site. You can park on any of the residential streets surrounding the parade route or the Hannon Parking Lot at LMU located at 80th and Loyola. However, keep in mind that you can ONLY enter LMU on parade day from Lincoln Boulevard.
