Welcome Honor Flight Veterans
Early Friday morning at 12:30 a.m.,
Debbie Bennett and Gwen Vuchsas
joined Kim Muno and her family at
the Southwest Terminal to help unload
wheelchairs for Honor Flight veterans.
Thanks to Kim’s brother—who transported
the truck from Gardena—the work was
already completed upon arrival.

Debbie and Gwen stayed until 2:00 a.m. to
assist as Honor Flight volunteers began arriving, reflecting the group’s dedication and teamwork.
On Sunday evening at approximately 6:30 p.m.,
the Southwest Honor Flight returned to a crowd
of welcoming cheers as veterans arrived home.
With three WWII veterans on board, the heartfelt
reception featured patriotic banners and special
gifts, creating a memorable and well-deserved
tribute to their service.

Dean and members of PVSR were honored to
present each veteran with a commemorative
pin—each one symbolizing their service,
a small but meaningful token of our deep
gratitude and respect for their dedication
to our country.

Members in Action: Giving Back Locally
Dean and Susan take time out to recently
volunteer at the Westside Food Bank helping
sort and distribute food to families in need
across the community. Their efforts made a
meaningful impact—another great example
of “Service Above Self” in action!
