Grant has lived in Westchester almost all of his life, and loves working on all sorts of reunions.  One project was the Centennial Celebration of Venice High, in 2011, where thousands of people had a wonderful weekend reunion.  A lot of money was given back to the school, and a Guinness worlds record was broken, for the largest skateboard parade.

During his thirty-five years at Venice High School, he was chairman of the Industrial Education Department, Technical Director of the Performing Arts Dept., the first men’s volleyball coach, Stagecraft Consultant for the L.A.U.S.D., past faculty association president. He has received the PTSA Honorary Service Award, and the Alumni Associations Alumnus of the Year.  Grant taught wood shop, leadership, stage crew, typing, education career planning, and life skills at Venice High School.  He retired from Venice High in June of 2001.

Grant loves traveling with his lovely wife Judy. Some of their trips have included: Africa, Alaska, Australia, Canada, the Caribbean, Costa Rica, Cuba, Fiji, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, (where he ran with the bulls), Thailand, Tahiti, and China.

They have four children, Gina, Julia, Adam, and Aaron; and four grandchildren – Ariel, Shea, Bodhi, and Kaaden.
