Dear Rotarians and Family,

Our first monthly hike is this coming Sunday January 29 at 8am. It will be a easy hike, also suitable for children and pets. We hope you will make time for this time of fellowship together in the Nature. I guarantee you will  will returned happy & energized!

The hike wil take between 2 to 3 hours, depending on our pace. We can go all the way to the look out which is 3.5 miles one way or come back earlier. 

After the hike, for those who want, we can meet at the Brentwood Starbucks on San Vicente.

I will share the list of participants on Thursday, for those who want to carpool.

A week long celebration to thank  the men and women who protect our community day after day.

Our club is a sponsor of this event and we will help bring them a meal. Details to follow!

Join us for an energyzing Sunday morning in Pacific Palisades. We will meet at 8am at the corner of Temescal and Sunset. We will end with Brunch at Cafe Vida 15317 Antioch St. in Pacific Palisades. You can just join the brunch for fellowship!

The Temescal Canyon trail features the best of both ocean and canyon views. This is a popular urban hike because of the proximity to the city- The trailhead is located off of Sunset Blvd in Pacific Palisades at the Temescal Gateway Park. Starting from LA county, the trail enters Topanga State Park. Along the way, you will be greeted by views of Malibu, Santa Monica mountains and Downtown

The hands-on Clubrunner workshop is a practical session designed to provide training and guidance on using the Clubrunner platform effectively. During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the various features of Clubrunner, including how to:

    •    login

    •    update your profile

    •    use communication tools

    •    create events & sign-up lists.

Through interactive exercises and demonstrations, attendees will gain practical skills and knowledge.

Please remember to bring the following:

    •    your laptop or tablet

    •    your personal Clubrunner login (please let me know if you need any assistance in advance)

Our Club is hosting a lemonade stand at the opening day of the Sailing program organized by the Boys and Girls Club. It's at Mother's Beach in Marina del Rey.

Volunteer to help at the Lemonade Stand or feel free to stop by anytime to just hang out and witness this wonderful program. Later in Spring, Our club will join hands with the Boys and Girls Club in a fundraiser that will benefit deserving children in our communities.

The long awaited and vastly requested wine tasting dinner is finally upon us. Mark your calendars for Monday evening May 22 at 6:00 pm.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy delicious food that only Lisa can serve, a lovely selection of wines and the best way imaginable to raise money for our club.

Kenneth Hahn Recreation Area is a 2.6 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Culver City, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Its a perfect day for everyone. Bring your kids and your furry babies.

The Temescal Canyon hike, tucked into the hills of LA's west side in the Pacific Palisades, is one of the great Los Angeles city hikes. The hike starts in serene Temescal Gateway Park, climbs up a shaded oak and sycamore canyon, and then returns along a ridge high above the Pacific Ocean. On a clear day you can see from the San Gabriel Mountains to Catalina. The trail is easy to follow, the route isn't long.

Parking inside the park: $12 flat fee.OTHERWISE, there are plenty of parking on the streets.
