Teacher Mini-Grants

 

Playa Venice Sunrise Rotary Club partners annually with the LAX Coastal Chamber's Education Committee for our Teacher Mini-Grant program. Grant awards  are presented to local educators in both public and private schools in effort to enhance their classroom programs. 20 years into the program, the club has given out over $300,000. Long time donors to the program include Rotarians Howard Pollack of Rainbow Acres Natural Foods on Washington Blvd, Gail Goldstein and Maria & Joe Davis, Lory & Mike Sarlo of Sarlo Tax Service, Lance Lipscomb and the Travelodge Hotel at LAX, the Larry Plotkin Family, Wells Fargo, Superb Tech Inc., Playa Vista, Rotary District 5280 and the Playa Sunrise Rotary Foundation.
