With belief that all youth are destined for continued success, Playa Venice Sunrise Rotary is committed in providing financial assistance for students entering higher education institutions. Each spring, we are thrilled to award $1,000 scholarships to 10 deserving high school graduates going to college. Please read below for various scholarships available and apply!

ARTS SCHOLARSHIP  Awarded to a college-bound senior who wishes to pursue a degree and a career in fine arts, photography, music, fashion design, theater or dance.

CAROL GOLDSTEIN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP  This is a need-based scholarship and is awarded to a candidate who is excited to pursue his/her education and career in vocational school or junior college.

DON CULTON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP  Awarded to a "global thinker" student who has or will make a positive impact in international relations through volunteerism. Because of Don Culton's tenure at West LA College, preference will be given to a student pursing a junior college admission.

ROTARY INTERACT SCHOLARSHIP  Awarded to a Rotary Interactor excelling in his/her education and in contributing service to his/her community.

LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP  Awarded to a student who have shown exceptional leadership skills during his/her high school tenure.

PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP  Awarded to an immigrant, "global thinker" student who has or will make a positive impact in international relations through volunteerism.

SERVICE ABOVE SELF SCHOLARSHIP  Awarded to a student who has shown exemplary commitment to his/her school and/or community via service-based projects and activities during his/her high school tenure.

TRUDY BIRD MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP  This is a need-based scholarship and is awarded to a candidate who is excited to pursue his/her education and career, particularly in vocational school or junior college.
