The annual Literacy Breakfast will focus on "Peace Literacy: The future of peace in the classroom and the community." Our keynote speaker is Paul Chappell, an international peace educator, speaker and author. He has authored six books and serves as the Peace Literacy Director for the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation. He is a West Point graduate, former army captain and Iraq War veteran. Paul grew up in a violent househould and struggled with trauma throughout his school years. He created Peace Literacy to help all students and adults work towards their full potential and a more peaceful world. |

Join us, along with your family and friends for a fullfilling evening to celebrate International Peace Day with a stimulating interactive dialogue between Rotarians, non Rotarians, Clergy, and scholars. The audience participation will be a major focus of the evening. Many Rotarians are more secular than religious and it is intended for them as well as those who embrace a particular religious faith. It will be a philosophical interactive discussion about values and beliefs. A DIGNITY for ALL - HUMAN KINDNESS Event! The event is free for a limited number of attendees. So, register early!
